Alberta Louise Aid, 91, passed away at Family Tree in West Point of natural causes. She was born Aug. 20, 1923 in Cromwell, Iowa to Howard and Hannah Long.
On Dec. 10, 1939, she married Roy I. Aid in Clarinda, Iowa. They later moved to Hawthorne, where her husband worked at the Naval Ammunition Depot before moving to Sunset, Utah in 1959, to work at Hill AFB.
Most of her life was spent as a stay at home wife and mother.
Alberta loved camping, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children and their spouses; Charlotte and Dean Britt of Ogden, Sharon and Rodney McNees of Madera, Calif., Pamala Chaffee, Ogden. Alberta also is survived by nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 27 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy, parents, one great-great granddaughter, two nephews, and two nieces.
