Chad Harris
Chad Harris, deeply loved by family and friends, passed away on July 19, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on April 17, 1948, Chad’s life was marked by his big heart and wonderful sense of humor.
His memorial service will begin with an honor guard ceremony at 11 a.m. on September 20, 2024, at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
Following the funeral, the Silverado in Fernley will provide a limited menu in their banquet room where friends and family can gather to celebrate Chad’s life
Chad was a 100 percent service connected disabled Vietnam vet having been severely wounded in the battle of Khe Sanh.
In lieu of flowers Chad would have wanted that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in his memory.
