Start cleaning out your closet for a great cause. The Mineral County Chamber of Commerce (MCNV Chamber) and the job workshop partners are coordinating a business clothing drive to help those who may need appropriate attire for an interview and, once they get a job, appropriate clothing for the type of work they will be doing.
Clothing is needed for men and women from suits to jeans and khakis, dress shirts to polos and blouses and shoes in all sizes. No used underwear, please. The partners are asking that clothing be in good condition and laundered so it is ready-to-wear. New underwear and socks would be greatly appreciated. The Chamber is a 501 (C)(6) non-profit organization. Donation receipts will be available for tax purposes.
The partners are looking for an appropriate date and will offer curbside service for drop off so stay tuned.
Partners include MCNV Chamber of Commerce, Mineral County Recreation & Community Development, Mt. Grant General Hospital, Community Chest, Estate Sale Warehouse, Annie’s Place, Port of Subs and Safeway.
