This coral beauty memorializing Frank Johnson wins the Filia T. Paulidis Award this week. Paulidis was one of the original founders of the Green Thumb Garden Club and was president from 1986 to 1987. She spent many hours developing the Memorial Rose Garden and the Library Rose Garden, planting, watering, feeding and pruning. According to the memories published following her death in 2003 at the age of 88, “These gardens were like an extension of her own garden; she went there morning and evening when she was physically able.”
