Jerad Dore’, right, took home bronze in the high jump event in a track and field meet in Australia.

Jerad Dore’ graduated from black and gold to bronze this summer, traveling to Brisbane, Australia to compete in track and field.

Dore’ jumped 6 foot 3.5 inches to capture the bronze medal in high jump. He was invited to compete in the DownUnder Sports program after his performance at state the past two seasons.

The DownUnder program provides athletes world class competition opportunities, as well as Australian highlights like snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, meeting kangaroos, and holding koalas. Dore’ says he had a wonderful time during this “life changing experience.”
