District Court

• On April 11, Keira Ann Ulibarri had an order revoking probation and reinstating sentence of imprisonment for violating the terms and conditions of her probation for the crime of grand larceny, a violation of NRS 205.220 and NRS 205.222(2), a Category C felony. She was sentenced to imprisonment in the Nevada Department of Corrections for a minimum term of 24 months and a maximum term of 60 months. She was given credit for 357 presentence days served.

• On May 17, Jordan Deanne Godard had an order revoking probation and reinstating sentence of imprisonment for violating the terms and conditions of her probation for the crime of attempted malicious prosecution, a violation of NRS 199.330 and NRS 199.310, a category E felony. She was sentenced to imprisonment in the Nevada Department of Corrections for a minimum term of 12 months and a maximum term of 34 months. She was given credit for 52 days presentence days served.

• On June 5, Samuel Anthony Linville had an order rescinding suspended sentencing proceedings and entry of judgment of conviction for the crime of possession of a controlled substance, a violation of NRS 453.336, a category E felony. He was sentenced to imprisonment in the Nevada Department of Correction for a minimum term of 12 months and a maximum term of 32 months. He was given credit for 199 presentence days served. He was ordered to pay $88 in fines and fees.

• On June 12, David Dean Blackwood entered a guilty plea to the crime of attempted fraudulent use of a debit/credit card, a violation of NRS 193.330 and NRS 205.760(1)(B), a gross misdemeanor. He was found guilty and sentenced to 364 days in the Mineral County Detention Center. This was suspended and he was placed under supervision of Nevada Parole and Probation for three years with special terms and conditions. He was ordered to pay $606 in fines and fees. He was given credit for 35 presentence days served.

• On June 12, Racquel Theresa Lopey had an order reinstating and modifying probation pursuant to NRS 453.3363 with conditions for the crime of possession of a controlled substance, a violation of NRS 453.336, a category E felony. She was sentenced to special conditions along with her original terms and is to enter into the Western Regional Drug Court Program. If drug court declines her acceptance, she will be remanded to the custody of the Mineral County sheriff and brought before the court for sentencing. She is to serve 60 days, flat time, with no work or good time credit in the Mineral County Jail from June 12, 2018 to Aug. 12, 2018 if she has been accepted to reenter in the drug court program.

• On June 18, David Dean Blackwood had an order revoking probation for the crime of attempted fraudulent use of a debit/credit card, a violation of NRS 193.330 and NRS 205.760 (1)(B), a gross misdemeanor. He was sentenced to imprisonment in the Mineral County Jail for 364 days. He was given credit for 61 presentence days served.

• On June 26, Justin William Seevers entered a guilty plea to the charges of: attempted battery committed by a prisoner, a violation of NRS 193.330 and NRS 200.481(2)(F), a category C felony. He was found guilty and sentence to imprisonment with Nevada Department of Corrections for a minimum term of 12 months and a maximum term of 36 months with credit for 222 presentence days served. He was ordered to pay $678 in fines and fees.

Justice Court

• On June 25, Tara Hope Clark pled guilty to the charge of: disturbing the peace, NRS 203.010, a misdemeanor. She was found guilty and sentenced to 45 days in jail; suspended under the condition she has no law violation for six months; no drugs and not to consume alcohol above the legal limit; ordered to do treatment once a week for six months; also will be subject to random search and seizure for six months.

• On July 3, Preston David Sanders pled no contest to the charge of: False report of a crime, NRS 207.280, a misdemeanor. He was found guilty and ordered to pay $575 in fines and fees; credit for time served. Pay balance by July 31, 2018.

• On July 9, Antonio Lopez pled guilty to the charge of: speeding, NRS 484.600, a misdemeanor. He was found guilty and ordered to pay $195 in fines and fees within 30 days.

• On July 12, Robert Charles Galloway pled guilty to the charges of: count I – eluding public officer, NRS 484B.550(1) and count II – basic speed, NRS 484B.600, all misdemeanors. He was found guilty and sentenced to time served.

• On July 16, David Eugene Brennan pled guilty to the charge of: possession of drug paraphernalia, NRS 453.566, a misdemeanor. He was found guilty and ordered to pay $640 in fines and fees. All other charges in this case were dismissed.
