The 7th grade Rockets won its 7th straight championship in the Mountain Division.

The Rockets played Coleville in the semifinal game winning 27-15. DeVayne Isom led the floor game with 15 points and Austin Wisdom followed with six points.

In the championship game, the Rockets faced Oasis from Fallon. After being down by two points at the end of the first quarters, the Rockets outscored Fallon 24-13 in the next two. The Rockets stayed strong in the fourth quarter and the final was 43-32. Leading Torres had eight points, Jaevaun Jones added six points, and Raul Guiterrez had four. All seventeen Rockets received championship medals.

The 8th grade Rockets lost to Virginia City in the semifinal game, 38-34. The Rockets had trouble getting the ball in the hoop but were still tied at the end of the 3rd quarter, 29-29.

The difference in the game was the fouls. The Virginia City team went to the free throw line 35 times to the Rockets 16., and four Rockets fouled out. Despite the adversity, the Rockets battled hard against what appeared to be an uphill battle all the way.
