Linda Machael, 64, of Hawthorne, passed away Monday, May 29 after a lengthy illness. Born in Chicago, Ill., Linda was known for her “wicked” sense of humor, with her favorite holidays being Halloween and April Fool’s Day. She loved being outrageous and being “that” member of the family. This unique trait, coupled with her kind heart, made her a family favorite and very much loved by anyone who came into contact with her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Mary Ann Berg and her daughter, Sarah Ann Hoyland. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Machael; her daughter, Tracie Hoyland; sons: Nick Hoyland, Jr. and Garrett Hoyland; brother, Edwin Berg, Jr.; sisters: Amy Carter and Marci Hinchey; daughter in law, Brandi Hoyland and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and extended family.
Arrangements are with Walton’s Funeral Home in Reno and a Celebration of Life for Linda will be held in Camarillo, Calif. on July 22, 2017.
