A vehicle stop lands three in the Mineral County Detention Center. On June 6 at approximately 12:34 p.m., Mineral County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop on a silver 2010 Volkswagen.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, “During the stop, officers became suspicious of possible criminal activity.”
Mineral County K9 Officer Jake was deployed and showed a positive alert to the Volkswagen. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine, one handgun and stolen property.
The occupants of the vehicle, identified as Taylor Hall and Aaron Ramsey, both of Fallon.
The recovered property located in the vehicle led officers to Jacob Rosemore, of Hawthorne. It was discovered that Rosemore had sold Hall and Ramsey the stolen property.
All three subjects were arrested and booked into the detention facility on the following charges:
Rosemore: Buy/possess/receive stolen property; operating place for sale/gift/use controlled substance – first; possession paraphernalia; possession dangerous weapon; unlawful use of controlled substance and possession of controlled substance.
Ramsey and Hall: Possession of firearm by convicted felon – two counts; possession of drug paraphernalia; trafficking controlled substance – two counts and possession of controlled substance for sell.
At press time, all three remained in custody of the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office.
