Susan Kay McIntosh, age 69, passed away March 23 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Reno, Nev.
Susie was born March 2, 1946 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ab and Norma Clark and was a long time resident of Hawthorne.
Surviving is Susie’s husband of 22 years, Ollie McIntosh. Susie is also survived by her mother, Norma Clark, also a long time resident of Hawthorne; her brother, Steve Clark; sister, Dixie Christopherson; children: Jenny, son-in-law John, Teri, Ricky, Tony, daughter-in-law Kerrie, Tim, daughter-in-law Shannon and Betsy; grandchildren: Ashley; Mandy; Renee; Christina; Rose; Todd; Clint; Haven; Macy; Kaylee; Jimmy and Michael and great grandchildren: Hannah, Dylan and Lyncoln.
Susie grew up and graduated in Hawthorne and was employed at various businesses throughout Hawthorne before retiring from Mt. Grant General Hospital as a dietary aid and cook.
A memorial service will be held on May 9 in Hawthorne at the park by the pool for family and friends.
Susie was a strong woman who lived through some tough times but in spite of it all remained a kind-hearted woman who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
