The gift of giving was present Christmas Eve when community churches came together to serve a free Christmas dinner to those in the community.
With the use of the Mineral County Care and Share facility, those members gathered to prepare the holiday feast with all the trimmings to anyone who may want a holiday meal.
The holidays are about giving – and that is exactly what these people did, in a time when some may have went without either a meal or someone to share it with.
“It was nice to gather with my neighbors and friends and enjoy a meal. Those who prepared this delicious feast did a great job. They do every year,” said a Christmas diner.
