The Catholic Ladies Guild invites you to jump into the holiday spirit on Saturday, Nov. 15, at the annual Christmas Bazaar to be held at the Hawthorne Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free. Over 30 crafters and vendors have arranged to be there for your holiday shopping. Plan to stay for lunch, as the kitchen will be open all day, offering soup; chili; chili dogs; hot dogs; nachos and cheese; sopapillas; beverages and dessert.

Santa Claus will be there from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., listening to the wish lists of the little ones. You may purchase photos with Santa taken by photographer Tony Hughes, or you may opt to take your own photos.

In addition to their traditional bake sale, the Ladies Guild will be selling cookbooks, which are the result of a very enjoyable summer project.

The festivities will culminate with the drawing of cash prizes of $500, $300 and $100 for three lucky winners. Raffle tickets are currently on sale, and will also be available at the bazaar. Tickets are $1 each or $5 for a book of six. You need not be present to win.
