Community Presbyterian Church invites you to worship with us on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at 7th and F Street or on Linda Young’s Facebook Live.
Scriptures for the day are Exodus 12:1-114; Psalm 149; Romans 13:8-14; and Matthew 18:15-20. Elder Gary Funk will present the message based on Matthew 18:15-20. Matthew says: “If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector. “I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”
A memorial service will be held for Kathleen Jeanette “Katie” Lanning on September 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the church.
The Presbyterian Women will hold their annual bazaar on November 11, 2023, from 9:00 a.m, until 2:00 p.m. A soup and pie lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
