Dear Editor,
On behalf of the families of Jeff & Donna Matheny and Marsha Martin, we would like to thank everyone that helped our family during our difficult times.
It’s hard to name everyone, but we’re going to try. Thank you to the Mineral County Fire Department, Dave Womack, Vern and Karen Watson, Father Ballesteros, Cathy Telvik, Beverly Kichenmaster, Suzanne Lahre, Nancy Rutherford, Steve and Diane Munger, Barb Edington, Walt and Debbie Hackford, Dave and Lindsey Ives, Kris Stinson, Stephanie Ziegler, Jeff Moody and Old Nevada Pizza, Zach and Tab Pellet, Gunter’s Funeral Home, Jaime Bostic, Ben and Jewell Benscoter, Heidi and Allen Lynch, Stacy Friedrich, Paula and Craig Viani, Ann Kee, Tyler and Sheila Viani, Jeannie Sanderson, Gary Moody and Anna Black, Tracy and Karry Larramendy and Southern Tire Mart, Rick and Tricia Schumann, Flowers by Ness and everyone else that offered any kind of help between the fire and the funeral.
Our family is so grateful for all of the help with the fire, the funeral and the aftermath, all of the food that was brought for our family in these difficult circumstances was absolutely amazing. Our town of Hawthorne is such an amazing place to live as everyone finds different ways to step up for others in their time of need.
If we’ve left anyone out, we sincerely apologize, but we want to thank everyone in the community.
