1936-2023
The lord took our mom, Carol Rogers, home to be with him on April 26, 2023.
She was born in Minneapolis, MN on October 7, 1936. She was married and raised her children in Long Beach, California.
She worked full time as a wife and mother and part time as a sales associate at various jobs. We know and love her as a people person enjoying being around people. She made people laugh with her silliness and joking. Her smile was priceless. We will miss her and look forward to seeing her again with our Lord and Savior.
She is preceded in death by her husband Clay Rogers; parents Benjamin and Melva Gustafson and brother Wayne Gustafson.
She leaves behind a daughter, Kathy (Roger) Verkamp of Hawthorne, son Mark Rogers of California, 2 grandchildren, Melissa Dragon and Justin Verkamp both of Hawthorne, and 5 great grandchildren’s Samantha, Megan, Lauren Dragon, Shauna and Harper Verkamp.
Family was everything to her.
