Scott L. Ferguson passed away Feb 7, 2014 in Kansas City, Mo., at the age of 64. One of 11 children, he was born on Dec 6, 1949 in Ventura, Calif., to Hazel and Lee Ferguson.
Scott attended and graduated high school in Ventura. In 1968, he followed his brothers into the Armed Services, where he enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving four years.
In 1973, Scott met Marilie Fong. Shortly after meeting they were married and had two children together, Christina Marie and William Lee. During this time, Scott served with the Nevada National and retired from Civil Service. They divorced in 1998.
In 1998, Scott married Patricia Bisson. They began their lives and his second career as a truck driving team. The couple remained living in Hawthorne until Patricia lost her battle to cancer on March 7, 2003.
Later in 2003, Scott met the last love of his life, Tawana Jerrick of Reno. They were married and eventually relocated to Quinlin, Texas, where they made their home together until his sudden passing. Scott was last employed as a long haul truck driver.
