On Tuesday, February 28, Loyola (Lee) Felipa Manzanares Valdez, a beloved wife passed away. She was 86 years old. She was born to Efren and Martina Manzanares in Ignacio, Colorado and moved to Hawthorne, Nevada in 1952. She married Henry Valdez Jr. on July12, 1952 for a 70 year marriage. They had 6 children, 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
Loyola is survived by her husband by Henry Valdez Jr., sons Johnnie Valdez and Efren Valdez and by daughters Beatrice Collier and Dorothy Hudson. She was preceded in death by sons Anthony Valdez and Adam Valdez and granddaughter Daphne collier.
Her service were held at 11 a.m. on March 18, 2023 at the Assembly of God Church, J and 4th street in Hawthorne, Nevada.
