Robert Paul MacBeth

Robert Paul MacBeth passed into God’s hands July 19 after a sudden and unexpected health issue. He is survived by his wife, Amanda and two daughters: Reyanna and Keslie. He also leaves behind his mother, Norma and two sisters: Alicia and Nicole.

Robert was a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, where he earned many distinguished medals. He was born March 27, 1977 in San Jose, Calif. and later moved to Reno.

Robert joined the U.S. Army at the age of 27 and honorably served fourteen and a half years. Upon his retirement, he chose Hawthorne as his home. He was active in the community, volunteering his time at the VFW and the American Legion.

Robert was a devoted husband, a loving father, a faithful friend and an adoring son and brother.

He will be inurned at the Northern Nevada Veterans Cemetery on Aug. 22 at 2 p.m. at 14 Veterans Way, Fernley. A Celebration of Life will be held at VFW Post 2313 at noon on Aug. 24. All are welcome to attend
