Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people stay for awhile and give us a deeper understanding of what is truly important in this life. They touch our souls. We gain strength from the footprints they have left on our hearts and we will never be the same.
The family of Arlo Funk sincerely thanks the following: The doctors, nurses, and staff at Mt. Grant General Hospital for taking care of our father and grandfather with professionalism and compassion. Thank you to the Nevada Veterans Coalition for the beautiful service they performed at the Veterans Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada and the friends and loved ones who attended the ceremony. Thank you to the Mineral County Care and Share for letting us use their building for dad’s celebration. A special thank you to Mary, Delphine, Cheryl, and Mort for their exceptional help in making the day perfect. We couldn’t have had the party without you. Thank you to Debbie and Judy Bartley who came from Reno to help us. Thank you for the many friends from Hawthorne and other Nevada communities who came and made the celebration even more special. Thank you to Natasha and Kip Funk (niece and nephew) who came from Denver, Colo. Dad was smiling that day and he would have had a great time!
Thank you all for the cards, phone calls, kind words and well wishes. God Bless you now and always.
