After a 10-day search, a Mineral County man back in jail.
On Oct. 4, the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office made contact with James Robinson, of Hawthorne, in reference to a temporary protection order violation.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, when the deputy attempted to take Robinson into custody he fled the scene in a vehicle and a chase ensued.
The chase would end in the desert west of Hawthorne and Robinson was not located.
On Oct. 14, deputies served a search warrant at the residence that Robinson was known to stay at, located in the 500 block of C Street in Hawthorne. When deputies made entry into the residence, Robinson was taken into custody without incident.
He is currently being held at the Mineral County Detention Center on a cash only bail.
