Students from Tricia Schumann and Sandy Esspnpreis’ classes made holiday cookies with the help of their family and friends.
Students at Hawthorne Elementary got into the holiday spirit last week, as they worked on rolling, cutting and baking cookies with their family and friends.
The exercise was more than just cutting out Christmas cookies. It was also a lesson in participation, communication and positive teamwork.
The students not only learned valuable lessons but also were also able to frost and decorate the cookies that they had previously cut out.
