Interest still continues at the Teels Marsh claims near Marietta, east of Hawthorne.

Dajin Resources Corporation has been in the exploration phase of collecting data regarding lithium deposits.
The survey shows a deep closed basin, up to 8,900 feet in depth which has the ability to retain large quantities of fluids.

Teels Marsh is the birthplace of US Borax Corporation’s first borax mine. Dajin holds interest in 100 percent of the claims along with Alkali Lake in neighboring Esmeralda County.

Lithium is derived from a deep basin trapping ground water within a sedimentary fill rich with volcanic sediments high in the element.

The search for lithium coincides with the building of the Tesla Gigafactory in Reno.
