Thank you Hawthorne

The Kenny Bostic Youth Athletic Fund (KBMYAF) extends our sincere thanks to the people of Hawthorne who helped make our Lasagna Dinner and Raffle such a success.

Individual thanks are sent out to Buck Hall and the crew at the Refinery for your donations of food for our dinner, Wild Rose Press for printing our raffle tickets, and Brandon Womack for providing the cord of wood.

Prizes for our raffle were generously donated by: B & B Hardware; Wagner’s Ace Hardware; Amerigas; Valley Propane; The Pizza Factory (and a warm welcome to the new owners); Hughes Car Wash; the Gunter Family; Pepper’s Place; SOC; Linda Lyle; P & P Hair; Glamour on Main; GCR Tire; Old Nevada Pizza; Flowers by Ness; the Walker Lake Golf Course; Napa Auto of Hawthorne and Patty Stoddard, the winner of the Henry Rifle, who generously donated the rifle back to be auctioned off to benefit the fund. Thank you for all of these wonderful donations.

Biggest thanks of all go to the great people of Hawthorne who have so generously supported this fund honoring one of our own for these past years. Because of you more kids are able to participate in the sports programs Kenny so enjoyed.

Thank-You,

The Kenny Bostic Memorial Youth Athletic Fund

Christmas Bazaar

The 2013 Christmas bazaar, sponsored by the Catholic Ladies Guild, was a huge success. The Hawthorne Convention Center was filled to capacity with crafters and vendors; and the public turn-out was gratifying. It took commitment and generosity on the parts of many people to put it all together. A hearty thanks to all who contributed in any way to the success of the bazaar. There are far too many to name individually, but all of you are deeply appreciated.
