1961-2023
Krystal Owens, 63, passed away peacefully at home on May 1, 2023. At her side was her loving husband Douglas Owens, and her good friend Joseph Roybal, Krysta, better known to her friends and family as Krystal, was born February 22, 1961 in Monument Valley, Utah. She spent her childhood living in several mining towns and camps in Nevada. In 1999 she met the love of her life and soulmate Douglas Owens in Washington State. They moved to Nevada together in 2000 and spent the next 23 years happily together until Krystal’s passing.
She loved bowling, pool, horseshoes, and gardening. Krystal’s smile and fun-loving personality brightened any room she was in. She will be greatly missed.
Krystal is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Joan Van Arsdale, brother Earl and Russell Van Arsdale and Lyle Meggerson, and daughter Amy Molina. Krystal is survived by her husband Douglas Owens, sisters Valerie Lovett and Lori Van Arsdale, three grandchildren, and three three great grandchildren.
A celebration of Life will be held on June 25, 2023, from 1-5 p.m. at the Elks Lodge 1704 in Hawthorne, Nev.
