It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gary C. Myers, 83, announces his passing. He peacefully passed away July 22, 2022, after a lengthy illness.
Gary was born to Kenneth and Zenia Myers on October 19, 1938 in Ruthven, Iowa. Preceded in death by both parents and brother, Ronald Myers.Gary married Dorothy Knee on May 30, 1959 in Newfoundland, Canada while serving in the Air Force, the two were married for 63 wonderful years. They shared a life filled with making memories with their three children and many friends.
Gary loved fishing, hunting, flying RC airplanes, and enjoying adventures with his wife on their Gold Wing motorcycle. Gary was a member of the Hawthorne Elks Lodge for 49 years and the E Clampus Vitus. He was an electronic tech with the Federal Government and retired in 1993 after a long and fulfilling career.
Gary is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three children, Randy, Pam and Paula (Bill); 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
