Trena was born in Placerville, Calif. She was later a long time resident of Hawthorne where she was loved by all of those in the community. Trena had been a long time active member of First Southern Baptist Church. She is survived by her sister, Beverly Gilbert; son, William Heaney; daughter, Summer Odom along with grandchildren Moyu, Korona, Saphyra, and Bryanika.
Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at First Southern Baptist Church at 475 C Street in Hawthorne. There will be a potluck to follow after services. Please bring a dish to share, along with any memories you have of Trena.
