Justice Court

  • On Oct. 16, Monique Nichole Valdez pled guilty to the charge of petit larceny, NRS 205.240, a misdemeanor. She was found guilty and ordered to 30 day in jail; suspended for one year as long as she has no law violations. No drugs including marijuana, no alcohol. Subject to random search and seizure.
  • On Oct. 16, Noah Rhone pled guilty to the charge of reckless driving, NRS 484B.653, a misdemeanor. He was found guilty and ordered to pay $585 in fines and fees; DUI school level I and must be completed in six months.
  • On Oct. 16, Gilbert Ross Sterling pled guilty to the charge of possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol, NRS 202.257(1)(a)(3), a misdemeanor. He was found guilty and ordered to 90 days in jail; suspended for one year as long as he has no law violations; continue counseling with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; no consumption of alcohol; no contact with the victims and all other charges dismissed.
