Inland Streamliner, the bus line that was to serve riders between Reno and Vegas is now out of business.

Picking up passengers at McDonalds in Hawthorne, the bus was a much needed service for those who need to travel out of town but may not have the funds or vehicle.

The company’s required insurance policy of $5 million was canceled on Aug. 21 according to federal records.

The website has been taken down as well.

Without the required insurance, Inland Streamline lost their operating authority and is no longer allowed to operate as an “interstate passenger carrier.”

Mineral County passengers had issues with the line, many after purchasing tickets for rides that were never fulfilled with any refund.

Residents of the county are again left with no alternative transportation means for out of town travel
