Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign team held a community conversation to discuss rural issues in Mineral County last Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Sept. 3, Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign held a community conversation to discuss rural issues in Mineral County. During the event, the campaign heard directly from voters and discussed Warren’s plan to invest in rural communities in Nevada and across the country. The event is part of a series of community conversations organized by Nevada for Warren and was conducted by Gabriel di Chiara, the Warren campaign’s rural political coordinator in Nevada.

“Rural Nevadans deserve to be heard, and our campaign is committed to visiting every corner of the state to learn what’s on their minds,” said di Chiara. “Elizabeth Warren has a plan to invest in rural communities and create economic opportunity no matter where you live.”

Mineral County High School seniors showed up to the discussion to share their views on many of Warren’s key topics, register to vote and find out how they can help in their communities.

In Hawthorne, di Chiara led a discussion among a group of Nevadans on Warren’s plan to strengthen rural communities by protecting access to high-quality health care in rural areas, raising farm incomes, creating a public option for broadband and more.
