Indian Taco fundraiser set for Aug. 9
An Indian Taco fundraiser will be held on Friday, Aug. 9 from 5-8 p.m. to benefit Debra Stephens as she travels to seven different countries to perform in five of them.
Cost is $7 plus $2 delivery fee. Tacos can be picked up at VFW. Tickets can be purchased by calling Desirae DeMars by calling 775-316-0566 or Ben Cruz at 775-560- 8940.
Youth Pool Party on Tap Aug. 17
The annual Coalition of Mineral County, Drug Free Communities and Mineral County Park and Recreation annual youth pool party will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 6-10 p.m. Ages 0-18 have free entry with ages 19 over paying $2.50 a meal. A live DJ, food, games and prizes will be offered.
