Members of the yearbook staff recently celebrated the completion of The Legend, the schools’ photo memory book for Mineral County High School and Hawthorne Junior High School. The theme for this year is “unity,” as the staff consisted of students in grades 7 through 12. The original artwork for the cover of the yearbook was designed by graphic artist Bea’ Whitney, a MCHS graduate and a school district staff member.
The hard-cover, 139-page full color book highlights activities at the schools and individual accomplishments. The cost of the yearbook is $55 and the number of copies available is limited. Students interested in obtaining a yearbook or desiring to be a part of the staff should contact Kathy Trujillo, Yearbook Adviser.
