The Mineral County boys downed Oasis of Fallon 74-23 on Friday with a balanced attack and pressure defense. Devon Davis led all scorers with 13 points. Treven Wachsmuth and Damien Montoya had 11 points each. Robert McFalls, Seth Bozzi and Jared Dore added eight points each.

On Saturday, the Serpents traveled to Coleville and defeated the Wolves, 72-36. Davis led the scoring with 18 points and McFalls added 14 points. Eleven of twelve Serpents were in the scoring column.

First place Mineral County is now 20-1 overall and 5-0 in league play.

The final three home games will be this week. Tuesday, the Serpents played Coleville. On Friday, the teams will play Round Mountain. The first game will be at 3 p.m. The varsity girls at 4:30 p.m. and the varsity boys at 6 p.m.

Senior day will be Saturday as Tonopah will be in town. There will be four games beginning at 10 a.m. with JV girls. JV boys will play at 11:30 a.m. Varsity girls will play at 1 p.m. and the varsity boys will play at 2:30 p.m.
