On Jan. 31, a week’s long narcotics investigation reached a pivotal point where Mineral County Sheriff’s Office deputies served a search warrant on a Hawthorne residence.

The search warrant was served on 245 K Street by members of the local sheriff’s office as well as members of Lyon County SERT/SUI (SWAT) Team.

A search of the residence nearly two ounces of methamphetamine and 15.5 ounces of marijuana were seized as well as several pieces of drug paraphernalia indicative to the sales of narcotics.

In a press release from Mineral County Sheriff Randy Adams, he states that four local drug traffickers were arrested.

Byron Gresham was arrested for high level trafficking (methamphetamine) a violation of NRS 453.3385.C; possession of a schedule I controlled substance, a violation of NRS 453.337; possession of marijuana over an ounce, a violation of NRS 453.336 and possession of drug paraphernalia, a violation of NRS 453.566.

Tricia Dilliner was arrested for high level trafficking (methamphetamine), a violation of NRS 453.3385.C; possession of a schedule I controlled substance, a violation of NRS 453.337; possession of marijuana over an ounce, a violation of NRS 453.336 and possession of drug paraphernalia, a violation of NRS 453.533.

Diana Mickle was arrested for mid-level trafficking (methamphetamine), a violation of NRS 453.3385.C; possession of a schedule I controlled substance, a violation of NRS 453.337 and possession of drug paraphernalia, a violation of NRS 453.566.

Robert Villanueva was arrested for mid-level trafficking (methamphetamine), a violation of NRS 453.3385.C; possession of a schedule I controlled substance, a violation of NRS 453.337 and possession of drug paraphernalia, a violation of NRS 453.566.

“The dedication shown by the men and women of the of the Sheriff’s Office to complete an extensive investigation such as this with the minimal manpower we are experiencing right now is commendable to say the least. The additional support from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office was invaluable as well,” Adams stated.

“My heartfelt thanks for this level of work goes out not only to the men and women of my department but to the personnel from Lyon County as well.”
