After a successful season on the gridiron, a number of Mineral County High football players earned honors for their play on the field.
On offense, running back Robert McFalls and wide receiver/tight end Tony Torres were named to the Central A All Division first team while quarterback Seth Bozzi and offensive linemen David Ditmer and Brodie Oberhansli earned second team honors. Robert Brown, Phillip Dees and Ethan Nelms were named to the honorable mention list for Mineral County.
On Defense, Torres made the first team as a linebacker along with defensive lineman David Ditmer. McFalls and Griffin Inman were named to the honorable mention list for defense.
The Serpents finished the season 5-5 overall and made the playoffs before falling to eventual champion Spring Mountain on Nov. 2.
