Kim Wilson, longtime Hawthorne resident, passed away at Mt. Grant General Hospital on Sept. 30 after a short illness. A service for Wilson will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 11 a.m. at Gunter’s Funeral Home Chapel in Hawthorne. A full obituary to follow in a future edition of the Indpendent-News.
