As the Mineral County High School seniors gathered for a night of reflection and scholarship awards, Reverend Rob Gibson from Oasis Assembly of God set the evening’s tone with positive opening remarks. By reminding each student that they have access to the connections that would lead them down the right path toward success, a tone of accomplishment was given to the students in attendance.

Guided by MCHS counselor John Gavin, over 25 scholarship resources provided amounts which ranged from $100 to $1,000, with many sources giving out more than one award. Several organizations and companies provided representatives to personally award the students with their scholarship money. Beth Cichowlaz was there to represent the local Cliff Cichowlaz Memorial Scholarship Fund, stating, “He believed in education, education, education.”
