Michael Rechner
Kody Frenna
A simple traffic stop landed two young men from Las Vegas in jail for high level drug trafficking.
On March 31 at 2:49 a.m., members of the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop on a silver, 2013 BMW 528 XI bearing the Nevada license plate of “SKKRRT”.
Officers noticed that the BMW had failed to stop at a stop sign.
After pulling the vehicle over, the officers became suspicious of possible criminal activity.
In a statement from the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office, it was explained that officers began a vehicle inventory which revealed, “Approximately 925.5 grams (2 pounds) of cocaine, over an ounce of marijuana, steroids and drug paraphernalia.”
The subjects within the BMW were identified as Michael Rechner and Kody Frenna. Both subjects were arrested and booked into the Mineral County Detention Facility.

Oh wow, I hope the sheriff’s aren’t breaking their arms patting themselves on the back. Now these young men will probably spend the next 20 years of there life’s in prison. Guess who pays for that? That’s right… Taxpayers. All they really need is probably a program and some support from family. NEVADA LAWS ON DRUG TRAFFICKING AND HOW THEY GO ABOUT MAKING THESE ARREST NEEDS A REAL CHANGE. THEY THROW FAR TO MANY LIVES DOWN THE DRAIN OF PEOPLE THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT.
WHAT GIVES THEM THE RIGHT TO LEWER PEOPLE INTO THEIR STATE, that they suspect may be dealers (not in Nevada) by offering far more money then normal, not once but 2 or 3 times, to make sure the person travels into Nevada then arrests them charging them with highest level trafficing which carries a mandatory 25 yrs to life sentence, per offense. Yet they allow the snitch to continue dealing drugs, reside in Nevada, abuse his wife, threaten people in their own State. Then they act like they are taking some big-time trafficer off the streets. When in reality, THEY made her a level 3 trafficer in THEIR State. It took her more then 3 days to get the drugs they, once they payed her $600 over the cost, deposited the money in her bank account which she would withdrawal in California . They knew she Was struggling to pay her rent, and had a gambling problem, yet they insisted she met them at the casino. She had 53 cents in her bank account.Don’t you think big time drug trafficers normally have money, connections with cartels, high rollers, possibley even committing other crimes. You sure would think if someone’s gonna sit in prison for 25 years to life they would at least have a long history of trafficing and possible ties to cartels, Mafia, or something. It’s just so wrong, I’ve seen murderers get less time. Nevada laws are completely without reason. You may agree with them now, until it happens to someone u know or care about. One of your kids, grandkids. All’s it takes it one time. Gone for 25 years.
