The following people were arrested in Mineral County on or after Dec. 26 and were in jail on Monday at or after about 8 a.m. All charges against them are misdemeanors unless otherwise noted. All are innocent until proven guilty in court. Names and charges appear as they have been received from the sheriff’s office.
• Antonio Lopez was arrested on Nov. 30 by Nevada Highway Patrol for DUI, above legal limit, (first); non-resident drive when privilege suspended/revoked/cancelled; child restraint violation (first) and basic speed – 21-30 miles per hour over posted limit. Bail set at $3,390 bond/cash.
• Dallas D. Blackwell was arrested on Dec. 1 by Nevada Highway Patrol for violate domestic violence temporary protective order, basic speed – 1-10 miles per hour over posted limit and improperly mounted headlamps. Bail set at $3,465 bond/cash.
• Jawan A. Mullen was arrested on Dec. 2 by Mineral County Sheriff’s Office for own/possess gun by prohibited person, buy/possess/receive stolen property, < $650, basic speed – 21-30 miles per hour over posted limit and bench warrant – Hawthorne Township Justice Court. Bail set at $45,470 bond/cash and $417 cash.
• Austin Sasser was arrested on Dec. 2 by Mineral County Sheriff’s Office for domestic battery, first. Bail set at $3,140 bond/cash.
• Branden D. Turner was arrested on Dec. 2 by Mineral County Sheriff’s Office for arrest on other agency warrant – Fernley Municipal Court. Bail set at $415 cash.
• Robert C. Villanueva was arrested on Dec. 2 by Mineral County Sheriff’s Office for possess schedule I, II, III, IV controlled substance (first/second), consp. possess 1+ ounce marijuana, use/possess drug paraphernalia and use/under influence schedule I, II, III, IV controlled substance. Bail set at $11,700 bond/cash.
