The Mineral County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a shooting incident that took place at Barley’s Sports Bar in Hawthorne on Nov. 21.

Mineral County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance for information after a bar fight at a Hawthorne establishment turned into a shooting incident.

The sheriff’s office received an emergency call from Barley’s Sports Bar on Nov. 21 at approximately 11:05 p.m. for a fight in progress.

In a press release from the sheriff’s office, it stated that upon further investigation Mineral County deputies found evidence of a shooting within Barley’s Sports Bar.

A further investigation during the week led to the identity of the 42-year old shooting victim, Allen Cocken.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the shooting.

A representative for Barley’s was contacted for comment. None was given.
