The ladies in the Red Hats celebrated Thanksgiving at their November gathering. The Pink Pig was in attendance, ready to collect the change that jingle jangled in the pockets and pocketbooks. Hopefully the pig will swallow lots of coins by next September so we will be able to send a nice check to the breast cancer organization.
We voted to donate $200 to CAHS to help the Christmas Angel program as we have done in previous years. We think this is a very special program for our community.
Some of the ladies donned their Red Hats and ventured off to Fallon to check out the craft fair at the junior high. We had a fun time and a wonderful lunch-wished more had been able to attend.
Our Christmas gathering will be held on Dec. 17 at 9 a.m. It will be our annual cookie and ornament exchange. See you at Maggie’s.
