An early morning gun shot landed a local man in Mineral County Detention Center.

According to a press release from Mineral County Undersheriff Bill Ferguson, on Aug. 14 at approximately 6:48 a.m., members of the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary in progress call located at 816 Third Street in Hawthorne.

The investigation led deputies to obtain a search warrant for the residence. The search would have deputies locating approximately one gram of methamphetamine; drug paraphernalia; counterfeit money and 33 firearms.

Rosemore was placed under arrest and charged with the following: possession of forged instrument; forgery; possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; discharging a firearm in a populated area; possession of a dangerous drug without prescription; possession of a gun under the influence of alcohol/drugs and unlawful use of a controlled substance – two counts.

He is being held without bail in the Mineral County Detention Center in Hawthorne.
