June Lynch

June Lynch, 87, passed away Jan. 7 in Reno. She was born June 24, 1928, in Buhl, Idaho, the daughter of Ernie and Stella Ross Peterson. She graduated from Jerome High School. June married Charles (Chuck) Lynch in 1949. They made their home in Hawthorne, where they raised two children and owned and operated the Mobile Station and then the Western Auto store. They officially retired in 1997, after which they divided their time between Palm Springs, Calif., Hawthorne and traveling. June enjoyed traveling all over the western United States, in particular their golfing adventures and spending summers fishing and water skiing at Anderson Ranch Dam in Idaho. She cherished spending time with her family.

June is survived by her two children Allen (Hidee) Lynch of Reno and Deanna Lynch of Olympia, Wash.; three grandchildren: Alicia Dalton (Hawthorne), Devin (Krista) Lynch and Allen David Lynch (Hawthorne); three great-grandchildren and many extended family members. June is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Ross and Callie and her husband Chuck, who passed away in 2014.

Funeral services were conducted Jan. 15 in Jerome, Idaho.
