On behalf of the YCAC I would like to thank our awesome community for the donations to our cheerleaders to help pay for our new scoreboard. The town has been so supportive of the Old Gym. We now have a huge, new flag thanks to Rick Isom and the VFW. Barbara Edington also donated one for the lobby. Rita Vaden sent us a check all the way from Alabama. Our after school program is a big hit with Bill Leaming reading to the kids and Jewel Benscoter donated books to the program.
Old Nevada Pizza and The Pizza Factory donated pizzas for the Valentine’s Day dance. The support of my staff Russell Bowles; Taylor Rigler; our volunteers; coaches and refs have made the basketball and cheer program run smoothly and the kids are having a blast. My support for the after school program Curtis Schlep; Randy Adams and Kelly Lawrence thanks for everything. Stay tuned for more upcoming programs: adult coed softball; girls softball and wrestling. Come down and fill out preliminary sign ups so we know whose interested (no money due yet). See you all at the Old Gym and again thank you for your support!
