Burt L. King
Burt King passed away Sunday at 5:40 p.m. after a hard battle with cancer.
Burt was preceded in death by his mother and father; his son, William W. and sister, Gilberta Seatz. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Isobel of Reno; daughter Lisa (Steven) Lynch; granddaughter Andi (Ryan) Moser, both of Reno. Brothers: Matthew W. (Pat) King of Hawthorne; Samuel H. (Shelia) King of Yerington. Sisters: Alta Reay of Washington; Jacqlyn (Bill) Hartman of Sparks; Sandra (James)
Essenpreis of Walker Lake and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many close friends.
Burt enjoyed hunting; fishing; and beer, but most of all he loved his family.
Burt was a graduate of Mineral County High School, Class of 1958. He will be missed terribly by all.
