Sherman R. Frederick/Properly Subversive
Look, we all know government isn’t efficient. But, damn, sometimes the sheer lack of common sense that bureaucrats and politicians exhibit with taxpayer money is exasperating.
Consider Medicaid, a big-budget health program that is critical for a number of Americans.
Yet, it was not until this summer when the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” passed, that our federal government was given (thank you, DOGE) a way to review Medicaid data to prevent double-dipping, state to state.
The first cross-reference review for this fraudulent double-dipping identified 2.8 million people in either Medicaid programs across multiple states or in both Medicaid and an Obamacare exchange plan. It is estimated that ending this double-dipping alone will save an estimated $14 billion per year.
Why did it take so long to fix this?
I’m talking to you, U.S. senators and House representatives. And, more shocking, the smart people at DOGE say this may be only the tip of the iceberg for Medicaid fraud.
Next time you see your elected federal leader, ask them how in the world they let this happen. And, why did it take this long to do something about it?
Tell them to get on the job, or get out and let someone in who will.
OBAMA-GATE
Liberal news organizations, which means just about all of them that are still in business, won’t dig into the latest Washington scandal because it involves taking a swing at their beloved President-on-a-Pedestal, Barack Obama.
It’s a shame, but it won’t stop this story from getting a full examination from those who still give a damn about truth in journalism.
The story begins after Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton for the presidency in 2016. It was then that the intelligence community began spreading information that Russia influenced the election in favor of Trump.
That launched a series of investigations and eventually a special prosecutor who, after two years, concluded there was, in fact, no collusion between Russia and Trump.
We also found out later that the whole idea was dreamed up by the Clinton campaign using the now-debunked Steele dossier to feed conspiracy theories to a corrupt FBI.
It was all fake, dirty politics designed to drag down Trump.
Now we get new information from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard that shows “overwhelming evidence” it was President Obama who “manufactured and politicized” the intelligence on his way out the door.

Obama and his apparatchiks have been caught “subverting the will of the American people and undermining our democratic republic,” says DNI Gabbert.
Before the Trump election, the intelligence community consistently told President Obama that Russia did not influence the election. New declassified information shows the then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper telling Obama that “Foreign adversaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the U.S. presidential election outcome.”
Then, in December of 2016, as Obama and Democrats were clearing out their desks, Obama, Clinton, and their teams hatched a plot to turn the real intelligence on its head.
It looks slam-dunk damning to me as I read the initial stories. The intelligence guidance before the election: No collusion. After the election and meeting with the Obama White House: Collusion.
I don’t expect the New York Times to follow this story. Their cred on Trump coverage is shot. But others will. And, for now anyway, it makes a clear trail to Obama’s desk in the Oval Office.
