Sen. Jacky Rosen

The last year in the alleged Biden Administration saw a horrible spike in antisemitism. And the reason? Antisemitism acts on college campuses.

That’s the bottom line from a new report by the ADL.

Nevada Sen. Jacky Rosen, pictured above, is the co-chair of the Senate Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism. She calls the eye-blinking ADL report “disturbing.”

Disturbing? It’s a lot more than that. It’s alarming.

As a good Democrat, Rosen fails to consistently condemn her party for tolerating this hate. Nor will she applaud the tangible efforts of the Trump Administration to do something about the hate on college campuses.

Look no further for blame than Joe Biden’s matador immigration policies and timidity in squaring up on campus antisemitic violence, organized by Hamas sympathizers, under the guise of free speech.

Recall a year ago, almost to the day, when 43 Democrats in the House voted against condemning the antisemitic phrase “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

And in the Senate last May, Democrats blocked Sen. Tim Scott’s resolution condemning campus antisemitism. Said Scott at the time:

“We are witnessing antisemitic hate and extremism that threatens the very safety of our Jewish students on college campuses around the greatest nation on God’s green earth. There can be no equivocating when it comes to the issue of antisemitic violence or hatred. And I – and every single one of us – should just call it out for what it is.”

Through all this, Sen. Rosen has swallowed her whistle with members of her own party when she should have been calling them out, front and center, for facilitating hate.

This isn’t a party thing. It’s a hate thing and Sen. Rosen would be better served to find the courage to consistently condemn hate, or the accommodation of hate, be it come from people of the red, blue, or purple persuasion.

PARDON ME?

If President Trump feels the need to right a wrong by pardoning Michele Fiore’s conviction, he should do Nevadans who voted for him a solid and explain why.

Look, she was accused and convicted of soliciting funds to erect a statue for slain police officers and then spending some of those funds on other uses, including plastic surgery for herself and paying for her daughter’s wedding.

The evidence in the public domain seems to show this clearly.

Part of what drives this story is the well known fact in Nevada that Michele Fiore is one odd duck of a public figure. She’s crass with the charm of a kitten-drowner.

So, was she unjustly prosecuted by the Biden DOJ because of that? If that is what President Trump means to say with this pardon, I, for one, would like to hear the argument.

I don’t think clarity is too much to ask because there are a lot of conservatives in Nevada who still maintain a sense of outrage for politicians, left or right, who betray the public trust.
