
Kenneth Neil “Kenny” Hammond, 65, of Glenrock, Wyoming passed away on Thursday, July 4th, 2024 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, Colorado.
He was born in Hawthorne, Nevada on Sunday, May 24th, 1959 to Robert Lyle and Gertie Mae (Henson) Hammond. He was the youngest of five children.
He later met his wife, Robin Renee (Saxon) Hammond while in Hawthorne and had three wonderful children, Steven Hammond, Robert Hammond, and Tawnya Hammond.
Kenny loved life and loved to see the world in a positive light. He loved being a father, a husband, and most of all loved to be a grandfather to his four beautiful grandkids. He loved fishing, hunting, camping with his family and friends.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Robin Hammond; his daughter, Tawnya Hammond; his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Melissa Hammond and his four grandchildren, Elizabeth Hammond, Lindsey Hammond, Alex Hammond, and Journey Hammond. He is also survived by his four older siblings, Penny (Monte) Lininger, David Hammond, Fred (Susie) Hammond, and Sally (Steve) Kallstrom.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Robert and Gertie Hammond; his son, Steven Hammond; and his nephews, Evan Hammond and Johnny Vigil.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Glernrock Boys and Girls Club would be appreciated by the family.
Kenny’s memorial service will take place at the Lighthouse Worship Center, 107 Center Street in Glenrock at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 11th, 2024. There will also be a celebration for life, without the possibility of parole to follow at the Glenrock Library.
