The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection – Bureau of Air Pollution Control (BAPC) has entered the public notice period for the Operating Permit to Construct (OPTC) rollover to a Class I Air Quality Operating Permit for Walker Lane Minerals Corporation – Isabella Pearl Mine.
The public comment period is from April 15, 2024, through May 15, 2024.
The BAPC has reviewed the application and has made a preliminary determination to issue an new permit for the Isabella Pearl Mine facility (Isabella Pearl), located in Mineral County, Nevada. The project is located approximately 25 miles Northeast of Hawthorne, Nevada.
Isabella Pearl is proposing to transition their OPTC (AP1041-3897) to a new Class I Title V Air Quality Operating Permit.
The proposed project will not cause or contribute to a violation of any federal or State of Nevada air quality standards.
