Patricia Jean Del Porto Click, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 69 in her hometown of Hawthorne NV. Patricia was born on December 9, 1953 to the late Felix and Jessie Del Porto.
Patricia was an avid gardener, artist and rock collector, and was known for her creative spirit and love of nature. She was also a pillar of the community, always lending a helping hand to those in need. Patricia spent over 30 years as a hairdresser and was co-owner of P&P Hair Designs for many years. In 2013, Patty graduated Cum Laude from Western Nevada College. For the last 12 years she worked for the UNR Cooperative Extension in Mineral County. She was a devoted follower of Jesus, and her faith was a source of strength and comfort throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Felicia Giberson and husband John Beavers. She was survived by her sister, Judy Yocum and children Dennis Mathis (wife, Misty) and Haley Moseley (husband, Christopher). She was a devoted grandmother to Brianna Paulson, Taylor Paulson, Ty Mathis, Abbagail McNamara, Tyler McNamara, Rhiannon Finley, Wesley Wood, Jayla Tolliver, Avery Giberson as well as 3 great-grandchildren. She was a source of joy and love to all of her family and friends, and will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held on January 13, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Hawthorne Convention Center. In lieu of flowers or monetary gifts, please donate to the UNR Cooperative Extension Mineral County “Veggies for Seniors” program in Patricia’s name. Her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved her.
