On Wednesday. November 1, 2023, Winfred James Price, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend passed away, he was 57 years old. He was born to James and Linda on September 28, 1966, in Hawthorne, NV. where he spent the next 57 years. He is survived by his parents, James and Linda Price; sister Leah Montoya (Julian); sons Nathan, Garth (Skyler); daughter Morgan (Bryce) and his four grandchildren; Bentley, Carter, Adaline, and Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Winfred and Mary Brown, Grandmother Martha Bright, and beloved Debbie Price.
Win graduated from Mineral County High School in 1985. He went on to spend the next 25 years in the fire service industry where he served at the Hawthorne Army Depot and Mineral County. Win’s passion for helping people in their time of need was unmatched.
Additionally, he loved his grandkids and felt complete knowing his children were doing so well and his grandkids were all safe and protected.
A pot luck will be held at the Civic Center at 2 p.m. following the service.
